CORNWALL – The Cornwall Nationals won’t be heading on the road tonight (Sunday) for their game against St. Clair Shores, Mich.
Team spokesman Rodney Wilson said the team had “bus issues” this morning and could not make the 800 kilometer journey.
It initially looked like Cornwall wouldn’t have a chance to gather any points through a makeup game. “I was specifically told it was cancelled and not postponed,” Wilson said in a email to Cornwall Newswatch.
Though Wilson explained the standings are also calculated based on a win percentage.
However, the league tweeted that the game will be rescheduled.
Tonight’s @CornwallNats at @SaintsFHL game has been postponed due to travel issues. It will be rescheduled at a date TBA.
