Arsonists strike Long Sault school

LONG SAULT – Provincial police are looking for two people who set fire to a part of Longue Sault Public School over the weekend.

The O.P.P. canine unit was called in to help SD&G O.P.P. officers search for two suspects after a window was smashed in the school on Bethune Avenue around 2:40 a.m. Sunday (Oct. 9).

A fire was also set causing minor damage to the building, police said.

Two males were spotted fleeing the area on foot but cops were not able to catch the suspects.
