GIJANG, South Korea – Cornwall’s Jenna Flannigan helped Team Canada to a silver medal at the women’s baseball World Cup.

The Canadians fell 10-0 to Japan this morning (Sunday) in the gold medal game in South Korea.

This is Canada’s best result since the tournament began in 2004.

Canada won silver in 2008, when the team lost to Japan in the final.
