CORNWALL – A man who set off on an ambitious 538 kilometer walk for charity has had to cut his trip short.

Keith Bourne had left Cornwall on Sunday, July 31, 2016 on a walk to Kitchener in support of the SD&G United Way and the March of Dimes.

He was supposed to have arrived today (Monday).

But medical issues forced Bourne to abandon his journey in Kingston, Ont.

“We wish Keith all the best and thank him for his noble efforts and thank everyone who supported this event!” the United Way said in a post on its Facebook page.

Bourne was doing the fundraising walk along County Road 2 to raise awareness for Involuntary Moments/Tic Disorders – an affliction he has had for almost four years.
