CORNWALL – There’s a new financial manager with the City of Cornwall.

The corporation announced Tuesday that Tracey Bailey will be the new CFO.

“I am pleased to welcome Tracey to this position,” CAO Maureen Adams said. “Her leadership experience with the City of Cornwall and her public and private sector background make her well-suited for this role.”

Bailey has worked for the city for 18 years, mostly recently as the deputy treasurer and accounting supervisor for the city.

The born and raised Cornwall-area resident is a St. Lawrence College business administration and accounting graduate.

“I am thrilled about this new opportunity and the challenges it brings. I look forward to working with Council, the City’s management team and City Staff as we plan for the years ahead,” Bailey said.
