Tips sought in Christmas Eve hit-and-run of Moose Creek man

MAXVILLE – Provincial police are seeking tips from the public on who hit a Moose Creek man on County Road 22 Christmas Eve.

Christopher Coleman, 34, was found in critical condition on the roadside (also known as Dyer Road) by a passerby in the early morning hours of Dec. 24, 2015.

Coleman survived and is recovering from his injuries, police said, as they put out a fresh appeal for information Tuesday.

The investigation by the SD&G O.P.P. Crime Unit, under the direction of Detective Inspector Mark Zulinski of the Criminal investigation Branch (CIB), has been open since then.

All police know at this point is a vehicle had struck Coleman, but there are no other clues as to what type of vehicle.
