CORNWALL – Three more people have been arrested in connection to a third drug bust with ties to motorcycle gangs.
Cornwall police searched a home on Adolphus Street on Monday (June 20) and seized cocaine, hydromorphone and hash oil.
This follows two searches on Friday (June 17) at homes on Anderson Drive and Prince Albert Street where cocaine, hydromorphone, hash, brass knuckles, Canadian cash and “13 Crew” biker gang clothing was seized.
Those searches were carried out by the Cornwall police street crime unit in conjunction with local O.P.P.
The people arrested in the Friday bust – 42-year-old Rodney Helmer and 52-year-old Jeffrey Berube – are facing additional charges.
Those charges are possession and possession for trafficking in cocaine and hydromorphone, possession of hash and conspiracy.
At last check, Helmer and Berube were still being held for a bail hearing.
Police say the two accused are known members of the “13 Crew,” which is a support group for the Hells Angels.
Three more people were arrested and charged by Cornwall police Monday following the Adolphus Street bust.
Jennifer Berube, 52, is charged with possession of cocaine, trafficking in cocaine, possession of methamphetamine, possession of hash, conspiracy, unsafe storage of ammunition and possession of property obtained by crime.
Rachel Helmer, 41, is charged with possession of cocaine, hash, magic mushrooms, trafficking in cocaine, possession of property obtained by crime, possession of a prohibited weapon and conspiracy to traffic cocaine.
Francis Picken, 63, is charged with possession of hydromorphone, possession of cocaine, trafficking in cocaine, trafficking in hydromorphone and possession of hash.
All three have been released and will appear in court at a later date.
