NORTH DUNDAS – Provincial police have laid a dangerous driving charge against a snowmobile driver after a harrowing ordeal for several pedestrians here last month.

Police were called to a property on County Road 1 on Feb. 19 after a sledder had travelled near a ski path and recreational area on private property.

Several people had to jump out of the way to avoid the erratic sledder, which is said to have happened on Feb. 18 and Feb. 19, 2016.

Police arrested a 32-year-old North Dundas man on Mar. 1 and charged him with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.

He will appear in a Morrisburg court in April.
