CORNWALL – Both sides in the fluoride debate will be back at the city council table again.
Council agreed unanimously Monday night to have local Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Paul Roumeliotis, present at the March 23 council meeting.
Coun. David Murphy also has a contact with a “respected (group) in the business community” that will present the opposing side, likely the first meeting in April.
The city hasn’t had fluoride in its drinking water since the fall of 2013 after a piece of equipment broke at the water treatment plant.
The municipality has had the money to replace it in the budget – around $350,000 – but hasn’t acted on it since that time.
