Women Sharks take Fleming College Invitational

LINDSAY, Ont. – The St. Lawrence College Sharks women’s team has won the Fleming College Invitational.

This is the second year in a row the team has won the tournament, after coming off a gold medal performance at the University of Toronto-Scarborough Invitational.

The Sharks defeated Georgian College 4-1, shut out College Boreal 4-0 and downed College La Cite 5-1 to make their way to the final game Friday.

Cornwall then blanked the host Fleming College Knights 2-0 to take the tournament.
