JONQUIERE, Que. – The Cornwall River Kings beat the first-place Marquis 3-2 Friday night.
Francois Ouimet had the eventual game-winning goal, scoring his 15th of the season with five minutes left in the second period.
Defenceman Danick Malouin also scored, along with Nicolas Pard.
Charles Corsi had a 38-save performance.
The River Kings are still in the bottom of the LNAH standings with 26 points, behind Laval with 32.
Cornwall plays tomorrow night (Saturday) at 7:30 p.m. when Trois-Rivieres comes to town.
