CORNWALL – City councillor Andre Rivette is back in familiar territory for another year.

Rivette was re-elected as chairman for the Cornwall Community Police Services Board during the board’s first meeting of 2016 on Wednesday.

Manon Thompson will be the vice chairman.

The province has extended board member Louis Tremblay’s tenure past the typical eight years until a replacement can be found.

Tremblay is a member of the public appointed by the Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services.
