CORNWALL – Two men are facing charges after trying an age-old trick of switching price tags on merchandise.
The men from Maxville and Ottawa were caught Jan. 15 at a store on Pitt Street in Cornwall as they tried to buy the goods with the switched tags.
City police were called and after an investigation they showed up at police headquarters on Thursday (Jan. 21) and were charged with fraud.
They will appear in court next month.
