CORNWALL – The city’s LNAH hockey team is teaming up with the Children’s Aid Society of Cornwall and SD&G to bring toys to children this Christmas.
The Cornwall River Kings are asking fans to bring a toy to Saturday’s game against Thetford Mines as part of the agency’s 2015 Christmas Star Campaign.
The puck drops at 7:30 p.m.
Each donation will get a fan’s name in a draw for a basket of prizes, plus a free ticket to the Dec. 12 River Kings game.
In other news, the River Kings will have Chris Kushneriuk of Ottawa in the lineup.
The team picked up the 28-year-old player, who played four seasons with the ECHL, most recently with the Florida Everblades.
