CORNWALL – If you’re travelling around the city this afternoon (Saturday), you’ll want to keep some street closures in mind.
City police will be shutting down Second Street from St. Lawrence Intermediate School to Augustus Street, starting at 4:30 p.m.
The Santa Claus Parade starts at 5 p.m.
No Parking signs will be up from Anthony Street to Augustus Street and, if you’re caught parking there, you may be tagged and towed.
Police are not ruling out some last-minute detours for vehicular traffic near the parade route in order to keep the public safe.
