AKWESASNE – Two men have been arrested in connection to a viscous attack on a cab driver on Friday.
Noah Paul King, 22, was arrested Monday morning around 7:45 a.m. on the Quebec portion of Akwesasne after a warrant for his arrest was issued last week.
He faces charges of robbery, kidnapping, aggravated assault, assault causing bodily harm, mischief, theft, breach of probation and failing to comply with conditions.
This follows the arrest of a 20-year-old man, Dennis Benedict-Sylvester, on Friday.
A Cornwall taxi driver was beaten and robbed on Nov. 13 after picking up two men from a city bar and driving them to Cornwall Island.
