SOUTH DUNDAS – There’s a new face in the township’s recreation department.
Seaway District High School grad Michaela Morrow will be completing an internship in the municipality’s recreation department as she completed her fourth year of studying human kinetics at the University of Ottawa.
“When people think of human kinetics, they tend to think of physiotherapists or chiropractors. In reality, there is so much more you can do with a program like this,” Morrow said.
Morrow will be working alongside recreation program coordinator Ben Macpherson.
She will work on a number of projects including the Dundas County 50+ Wellness Day and the Spring/Summer Community Guide.
