SD&G – Mac’s locations across SD&G will have a new look by 2017.

The parent company, Alimentation Couche-Tard, announced last week all Canadian locations of Mac’s will be rebranded under an American name – Circle K.

The Mac’s label has been around in Ontario since 1961.

Quebec stores will keep the signature owl logo and will continue operating as Alimentation Couche-Tard.

The changeover is expected to start in the U.S. and Canadian stores won’t be rebranded until the spring of 2017.

The move is expected to make the company more efficient and give it better marketability.
