SD&G – As people in SD&G celebrate the last official long weekend of summer, you will find a number of things closed on Labour Day Monday.
Municipal offices and the City of Cornwall and United Counties buildings, banks and government offices are closed.
Canada Post offices are closed and there will be no mail delivery.
All LCBO stores, with the exception of some agency stores, will be closed and all Beer Store locations are shuttered.
Cornwall Square is closed.
The Cornwall Public Library and branches of the SD&G County Library are also closed.
There will be no garbage or recycling collection on Monday in Cornwall and your pickup day this week will be a day later than your normal collection day. The city landfill is also closed.
Cornwall Transit is not running.
The Aquatic Center is closed on Monday and will remained closed for annual maintenance until Sept. 13.
The Benson Center and Cornwall Civic Complex are open for regular programming but the complex box offices are closed.
In North Dundas, garbage and recycling pickup is not changed however the Boyne Road landfill is closed Labour Day.
In South Dundas, South Stormont and North Stormont, garbage and recycling will run as scheduled.
In North Glengarry, waste and recycling collection for Monday will be picked up on Tuesday. The balance of the week will continue as normal.
In South Glengarry, blue box and garbage pickup for Monday has been moved to Tuesday.
