NORTH DUNDAS – A man wanted after running from the cops following a hit-and-run has been arrested.
SD&G O.P.P. found the accused at a business on County Road 31 just before 1 a.m. on Thursday and arrested the 35-year-old suspect after a short foot chase.
The accused was also violated court conditions from a previous incident, said police.
The North Dundas man is facing charges of two counts of failing to comply with recognizance, failing to attend court, failing to comply with an undertaking, failing to stop at the scene of an accident, possession of property obtained by crime and dangerous driving.
The accused had been arrested June 28 after officers were called to a County Road 13 home for a man breaking a court-imposed non-communication order.
They were also called to a home on the same road on May 8 for a family dispute where several vehicles were damaged. He had been charged with mischief at that time.
