SD&G – While a temperature record was smashed in the nation’s capital on Wednesday, Cornwall and SD&G didn’t quite make the record books.
Environment Canada said the mercury hit 32.9 degrees Celsius, coming less than a degree to the record of 33.3 set in 1959.
Meanwhile in Ottawa, it was the highest temperature in over a century on Wednesday where it hit 34 degrees, breaking the record of 33.3 in 1949 and 1959.
