CORNWALL – A city trucking firm is celebrating 25 years in the Seaway Valley.
Seaway Express started in May 1990 by Bob and Linda Gautier with a single five-ton truck with a goal of providing overnight transport between Eastern Ontario and Quebec.
The company on Boundary Road now has 25 trucks and 55 employees and the facility has expanded over the years to 200,000 square feet of warehouse space.
Local dignitaries recently celebrated the silver anniversary.
Bob Gauthier believes the company’s success is due to his team of dedicated workers.
Seaway Express has received several awards over the years including the Shipper’s Choice Award from Canadian Transportation & Logistics Magazine this year.
