CORNWALL – A hockey tournament, used as a scouting opportunity, will be coming to Cornwall later this year.
The Eastern Canada All-Star Junior A Challenge is returning to its founding league – the CCHL – and the Cornwall Colts will host the event.
Teams from the Quebec Hockey League, the Northern Ontario Hockey League, the Ontario Junior Hockey League, the Central Canada Hockey League and the Maritime Hockey League will play.
There will be nine teams in total in the tournament.
The tournament will be held Nov. 16-18 at the Benson Center.
Scouts will also be looking at eligible players for World Junior A Challenge, being held in Cobourg, Ont. this year.
