Suspected identity thief caught in SD&G

SOUTH DUNDAS – Local O.P.P. have nabbed a suspected identity thief after a traffic stop on Highway 401, west of Cornwall.

Police say a driver was stopped Monday where they found a load of false identity documents, as well as ecstasy and marijuana.

A Montreal man, 32, is charged with six counts of possessing false identity documents and two counts of possession of a controlled substance.

Police did not explain what the documents were specifically.

He was released with a promise to appear in a Morrisburg court Aug. 4.
