County Road 24 ‘stunt driver’

NORTH GLENGARRY – A North Glengarry woman has been charged with stunt driving after zipping through a speed trap on County Road 24.

SD&G O.P.P. say one of their officers was doing radar enforcement on the highway around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday when he clocked a vehicle at 133 kilometers an hour.

The speed limit on County Road 24 is 80 kilometers an hour.

The driver, 23, from North Glengarry is charged with stunt driving under the Highway Traffic Act.

She had her driver’s licence and vehicle seized for a week.
