CORNWALL – The Cornwall River Kings ended their regular season on a high note, scoring a 7-4 victory over the Trois-Rivieres Blizzard on Saturday night.
Roughly 1,189 fans were out for the game as the River Kings ended the season with a two game winning streak.
Scoring for Cornwall were Andre Sandrzyk with a hat trick, Francois Ouimet with a pair and singles from Pierre-Luc Faubert and Guillaume Parenteau.
Sandrzyk and Ouimet were named the first and second stars of the game.
The River Kings start the playoffs Friday on the road against the number one team in the league – the Sorel Eperviers.
The puck drops at 8 p.m.
