CORNWALL – Parts of SD&G closer to the St. Lawrence River could see blinding bursts of snow Friday.
Environment Canada issued a snowsquall warning for Cornwall, Lancaster, Morrisburg and Long Sault at 8:30 a.m. this morning.
It says “lake effect” snow will lead to bursts of heavier snow Friday morning, leading to poor or almost no visibility at times for motorists.
Up to 15 centimeters of snow is expected Friday and with the southwest wind around 20 km/h gusting to nearly 40 km/h it will make for a tricky drive throughout the day.
