WINCHESTER – The hospital in Winchester has its first baby of 2015.
Lilah Shay Thurler was born at 12:26 p.m. on Jan. 1 to proud parents Robert and Brittany Thurler of South Mountain.
The Thurlers joked that their new six pound, seven ounce baby girl gave them a chance to attend a family New Year’s Eve party before making her arrival.
“She gave us an hour’s sleep before Brittany began feeling labour pains,” said Robert Thurler.
“We got home from the party at 2 a.m. and headed to the hospital three hours later.”
This is the Thurlers’ first child.
The New Year’s baby in SD&G was born at the Cornwall Community Hospital as Robyn Shaver gave birth at 6:50 a.m. Thursday to Hannah Hallie Shaver.
