CORNWALL – A couple of open houses are being held Wednesday for Cornwall residents to learn about how the city is tackling the emerald ash borer.
The invasive species is killing ash trees and it slowly makes its trek through the northeastern U.S. and Ontario.
It’s already in Cornwall.
The open houses are being held from 1-2:30 p.m. and 6:30-8 p.m. on Wednesday in the McEwen Room of the Benson Center on Seventh Street West.
Each of the open houses will include a presentation by city arborist supervisor Scott Porter.
