ALEXANDRIA – She probably won’t be able to ride it until next spring but Korine Decoste, 8, certainly has something to look forward to.

The Alexandria girl won a new bicycle through the SD&G O.P.P.’s “Wear It To Win” helmet safety program.

The bike was donated by Alexandria Home Hardware.

Kyanne Leroux, 10, of North Glengarry also received a skateboard from Raage Skateshop.

Police say both girls were spotted by officers wearing their helmets correctly during the summer and were given coupons for ice cream, plus, their names were put in the draw for the new wheels.
