CORNWALL – The Raisin Region Conservation Authority will be doing more improvements to the shoreline of the St. Lawrence River with a new grant.
MP Guy Lauzon announced Tuesday morning a $26,410 as part of the multi-million dollar Recreational Fisheries Conservation Partnerships Program.
The RRCA will use the money, along with some of its own, to come up with a plan to help local fish species, such as yellow perch, northern pike and walleye.
This is not the first time the conservation authority has tapped into this grant program.
