CORNWALL – MP Guy Lauzon has made books of condolence available for constituents to sign at his constituency office in Cornwall.
It’s a chance for residents to send a warm and comforting message to the families of Corporal Nathan Cirillo and Warrant Officer Patrice Vincent.
“This is a simple way for constituents locally to offer their sympathies to the families of these brave soldiers who served Canada so well,” said Lauzon.
Cirillo was killed by a gunman at the National War Memorial last week and Vincent was run down by a car in a hit-and-run attack in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec.
A regimental funeral was held in Hamilton Tuesday for Cirillo and a service will be held for Vincent on Saturday in Longueuil, Quebec.
In SD&SG, the books of condolence will be available from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday at 621 Pitt Street until Remembrance Day.
MP Lauzon says they will be delivered to the families in the fall.
