CORNWALL – The Cornwall River Kings weren’t able to pull out a last-minute comeback, falling 4-3 at home to the Jonquiere Marquis.
There were 2,569 fans at the Ed Lumley Arena for Saturday night’s game.
Michael Tessier, acquired in a trade with Sorel-Tracy earlier this week, put one in the net with goals from Antony Courcelles and Sasha Pokulok.
The River Kings are next in action Halloween night when they visit Thetford Mines at 8:30 p.m.
