River Kings snap four game losing skid

ST-GEORGES, Que. – The River Kings have put the brakes on a four-game losing skid after a 9-3 victory over St-Georges Cool FM Saturday night.

Francis Lessard and Antony Courcelles led Cornwall with two goals and an assist apiece. The River Kings notched nine goals including three on the powerplay.

Also scoring for Cornwall were Mathieu Lecuc, Dominic Chiasson, J.P. Caron, Nicolas Corbeil and Sasha Pokulok.

Loic Lacasse got the win in goal with a 40-save performance.

The Rivers Kings are next in action on the road Friday when they visit Sorel-Tracy.
