Cyclist killed on CR25 identified

SOUTH GLENGARRY, Ont. – Provincial police have identified a South Glengarry cyclist killed on County Road 25 this morning. SD&G O.P.P. say 62-year-old Francisco Teruel died after his bicycle was hit from behind by a westbound car around 8:30 this morning. Teruel died at the scene. The 42-year-old driver of the car – a 2002 Chevrolet Cavalier – was not injured. A section of County Road 25 (between Glen Roy Road and Frog Hollow Road) was closed this morning but was expected to reopen by 2 p.m. Police are still investigating and, so far, no charges have been laid.
