CORNWALL – Former South Glengarry Mayor Frank Prevost has been found guilty of sexual assault.

The final day of the trail concluded without Prevost.

The trial is scheduled for five days.

Three days in early November have been reserved for the judge only trial.

A man from a Montreal suburb faces two counts of luring a child and one count of obtaining sexual services from a minor.

The trial won’t be heard right away due to limited availability of Prevost’s lawyer.
