Colts lose to Nationals

CORNWALL – The Cornwall Colts had a weekend rest with no weekend games for them in the Central Canada Hockey League.

On Thursday (Jan. 8), the Colts fell at home to the division-leading Rockland Nationals 4-2.

Brandon Rockwell and Timothy Walker got the goals for the Colts.

Cornwall will be in action Thursday (Jan. 15) when they host the Brockville Braves.

The last meeting for the two teams in Brockville on Jan. 2 saw a 5-1 loss for the Colts.

The Cornwall Colts remain third in the Yzerman Division with 35 points (17-18-1-0), 29 points back of the Rockland Nationals.
