Colts win in double games with Carleton Place

CARLETON PLACE – The Cornwall Colts won a pair of games against the Carleton Place Canadians over the weekend.

The first game on Friday night saw the Colts double up on the Canadians 6-3.

Then, Sunday’s game went into overtime as Cornwall edged the home team 7-6.

Camden McCuaig completed his hat trick with the winning goal 2:16 into the extra period.

Also scoring for Cornwall were Brandon Rockwell with a pair and singles from Colby Lauzon and Lyndon Lamb.

The Colts are in third place in the Yzerman Division with 27 points and will welcome the league-leading Rockland Nationals (40 points) on Thursday night (Nov. 27) at the Ed Lumley Arena.

The puck drops at 7:30 p.m.
