Premier Doug Ford issued the following statement this morning (Oct. 13) to mark Thanksgiving:
Today, as families and friends come together across Ontario, I want to extend my best wishes to everyone celebrating this Thanksgiving.
This holiday is a great time to take stock of all we have to be grateful for, living in a province with incredible potential, natural beauty, diversity, opportunity and the best people in the world.
From our health-care and essential workers to the farmers who keep food on our tables, I want to thank everyone who ensures Ontario will always be the best place to live, work and raise a family.
As we gather with loved ones, let’s also remember those who may be less fortunate and find ways to give back to our communities.
From my family to yours, I wish you all a happy and heartfelt Thanksgiving.
