Over 300 teams at Cornwall Motor Speedway RaceFest

CORNWALL – A weekend of racing saw just over 300 teams take part in RaceFest at Cornwall Motor Speedway.

Summer-like conditions greeted 175 teams on Saturday and another 160 teams on Sunday (Oct. 4-5).

Here are the results from Saturday’s racing:

  • Mini-Stock – Antoine Dumouchel ($1,000 win)
  • Lightning Sprints – Xavier Lauzon
  • Mod Lites – Charles Antoine Pepin Bessette
  • Modified Midgets – Carl Labonte
  • Super Slingshots – Elie Verville
  • Street Stocks – Charles Marchand

Sunday’s racing results:

  • Sportsman – Dylan Moore
  • Lightning Sprints – Etienne Arpin
  • Street Stocks – Brock Gregory
  • Crate Sprints – Andrew Hennessy
  • Mod Lites – Daniel Demers
  • Modified Midgets – Carl Labonte
  • Super Slingshots – Melodie Pulfer

The 2025 season comes to an end next weekend – Thanksgiving – with the Canadian Super DIRT Weekend with racing Friday through Sunday night (Oct. 10-12).

At least $26,000 in prize money is on the line over the three days with the winner of Sunday’s 358 modified race taking home $10,000.
