MORRISBURG – A man in his 70s is dead after a tractor overturned on a trail near Morrisburg.
Provincial police say some walkers on the trail near Caughnawaga Road and Forest Road found the man pinned underneath the flipped machinery last night (Sept. 29).
The victim was later pronounced dead at the scene.
Police have only identified the victim as a 79-year-old man from the Municipality of South Dundas.
An initial investigation found the tractor had gone off the trail and rolled over, “pinning the operator, resulting in fatal injuries.”
