CORNWALL – A New Year’s baby arrived at Cornwall Community Hospital roughly 20 hours into 2024.
Amaris Dominic was born at 8:04 p.m. on Monday, according to the hospital, weighing in at 7.5 pounds (3.4 kilograms).
Mother Adanma Eruotor and the baby are both doing fine.
“It was a very quick birth. I was in labour for just an hour and twenty minutes. It was a very quick experience for me and it was really amazing,” Eruotor said in a prepared statement.
