First measurable snowfall expected Wednesday

SD&G – You may have to brush off the car and shovel your driveway or sidewalk on Wednesday.

Environment Canada issued a weather advisory today and is calling for the first measurable snowfall of the season with up to 5 centimeters (2 inches) expected.

A low pressure system has moved into the Great Lakes region tonight (Tuesday) and snow is expected to start during the morning commute time.

With the temperature below freezing, the weather agency says you should be prepared for hazardous driving conditions and possible poor visibility during heavy bursts of snow.
