
SOUTH GLENGARRY – A 15-year-old South Glengarry boy is facing charges in relation to an alleged sexual assault on another youth.
SD&G OPP say it was reported to them on April 2 before they laid charges on April 7.
The victim is younger than 16, based on the charges filed by police.
The 15-year-old is charged with sexual assault, sexual interference and invitation to sexual touching.
His name can’t be released as his identity is protected under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
Police say it’s an isolated incident and there’s no risk to public safety.
