CORNWALL – A Cornwall man is facing five sex-related charges following an investigation into alleged assaults on two minors.
Cornwall police arrested the 59-year-old on Friday (April 1) and charged him with two counts of sexual assault on a person under the age of 16, two counts of sexual inference and one count of indecent exposure to a person younger than 16.
Police say the victims and the perpetrator knew each other and the abuse happened over six years, starting in 2015.
This is not the first time the accused has been in trouble with the law after being charged in 2016 in an animal cruelty case where the Crown later dropped the charges,
He was released by police and will make his first court appearance June 14.
