Body found in burnt South Glengarry home: OPP

GLEN GORDON – Provincial police say they have located a body among the remnants of a house that burned in South Glengarry late Tuesday night.

The house fire started around 11 p.m. on Concession Road 4.

SD&G OPP say “human remains were located within (the) residence” during the investigation the next day.

The identity of the victim is not being released until family is notified.

The SD&G OPP Crime Unit, OPP Forensic Identification Services Unit are still investigating the cause in conjunction with the Ontario Fire Marshal and the provincial coroner.
