CORNWALL – City police are searching for two suspects after a plow truck was carjacked on a Cornwall street in broad daylight.
The Cornwall Police Service says the theft at gunpoint happened on Friday, Feb. 4 but didn’t make light of the incident until today (Thursday).
Police say two suspects went to an Adolphus Street home around 9:30 a.m. and stole a GMC Sierra pickup with a snow plow attachment while holding off the owner at gunpoint.
There are no reported injuries.
The vehicle, which has an Ontario licence plate with the last four digits of 2705, was last seen heading to Cornwall Island.
Both suspects are described as in their 20s to mid-30s. One is 5-foot-11 inches tall and the other is approximately 6 feet tall. One was wearing a black toque and black jacket. The other had a grey jacket.
The OPP has released a composite sketch of one of the suspects.
