New board leadership at Raisin Region Conservation Authority

GLEN WALTER – The Raisin Region Conservation Authority has two new leaders for its eight-member board of directors.

Martin Lang, South Glengarry councillor, has been named chairman of the board while David Smith, South Stormont deputy mayor, is the vice chairman.

Both Lang and Smith were acclaimed to their respective positions.

The RRCA covers the eastern half of SD&G and the City of Cornwall and oversees watershed-based programs, including flood control and water quality monitoring.
