ST. ANDREWS WEST – Provincial police have charged a third person in relation to the seizure of guns at a South Stormont home last month.
SD&G OPP say a 27-year-old man has been charged with obstruction about a week and a half after the seizure on Post Road. He will appear in court at the end of this month.
Police did not say how the accused interfered with their investigation.
Officers as well as a number of OPP specialized units, the Canada Border Services Agency and RCMP searched a home and seized a total of 30 guns, ammunition, a stun gun, bear spray and crossbows.
Two people were arrested during the Nov. 19 bust.
A 31-year-old man is facing the 17 weapons-related charges including five counts of careless storage of a firearm.
A 35-year-old woman was also charged with failing to comply with an undertaking.
