As of 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Public Health Ontario reported another 780** cases of COVID-19 (VAX: 369 none, 24 partial, 336 full, 51 unknown), bringing the total to 619,270. That’s a 0.1 per cent increase in total cases since Tuesday. Of those, 602,515 are resolved (97.3 per cent) and 10,005 people have died (six more than Tuesday; one death removed due to data clean-up).
There are 296 people in hospital (all hospitals reporting), 155 in the ICU and 90 on a ventilator. The number of tests performed is 19,811,701 (35,364 more than Tuesday) and results are pending for 16,736.
Public Health Ontario did not report vaccination data due to technical difficulties.
**Peel (38), Toronto (96), York Region (37) and Ottawa (44) account for 215 of today’s cases.
